Children's Museum

On March 14th I took Wyatt (Will and Wade's little brother) to the Children's Museum, just the two of us. Did you guys know that Indianapolis has the world's largest children's museum? You may have to come visit sometime. =) In this picture we are standing in front of a huge dinosaur in the dino exhibit. Some of the bones are real and some are casts made to complete the dino. Honestly Wyatt was more fascinated by the fake plants on the ground under the dinos than the actual dinos.

There is a dig site where you can chip away some foam and uncover dinosaur bones like a real palentologist.... Wyatt got his tools and started digging in the floor. Needless to say he didn't find anything, but the museum worker said he was sure cleaning up their very dirty floor.

This is by far my favorite picture from that day. This is in an under age 5 play room they have with blocks, sand, magnets, water, coloring, climbing, sliding, and all kinds of other stuff. He is getting so big!

This picture was taken in the under age 5 room too. He is driving a tractor, just like his Uncle Brandon has done since he was Wyatt's age.

Have you ever seen Batman build something out of PVC pipe? Wyatt had to get his MMR shot the morning we went to the museum and he got his shot with the mask, cape, the WHOLE deal.... "Aunt" Jennifer toned it down a little, but there were still people who said, "Hey, Batman" at the museum. :)

This train tunnel is the only tunnel Wyatt would go into without me. Let me tell you "Aunt" Jennifer can't crawl as easily as this 15 month old energy ball!

In the Coral Reef exhibit Wyatt got to crawl in a submarine. He loved it! There was also a fish tank that he stared at for a very long time. His big thing right now is going up steps. He likes going up them, but is very hesitant to go down them.

Here are some other pictures from the museum. We had a great time. He didn't know what to do with himself without Will and Wade to follow around. We rode on the carousel, but before the ride was over, "Aunt" Jenn was holding him while just standing on it. He was on the horse that moves up and down at first and he just looked around for a while, then he was over it and just wanted to be held. We spoil him rotten! :)
